Ethika at the 5th Non-Interest Banking & Finance Forum

The 5th Non-Interest Banking & Finance Forum took place on Saturday, 28 February 2026. The event was a milestone for Ghana’s NIB sector: the Bank of Ghana’s Non-Interest Banking regulation was announced, giving a clear regulatory framework for the industry.

Participants took part in quick non-interest banking lessons to build foundational understanding of NIB products and principles. A central theme of the forum was the challenge of human resources and expertise — the need for trained practitioners, educators, and informed consumers to make NIB a success in Ghana and the region.

Ethika Finance is playing its part in addressing this gap. Through our platform we provide a hub for Non-Interest Banking education, tools, and information — in plain language and aligned with the Bank of Ghana’s framework. We aim to close the gap in information and awareness so that more Ghanaians and West Africans can understand, access, and benefit from NIB.

Whether you are an SME exploring Murabaha or Ijara, a professional keeping up with BoG guidelines, or a student of non-interest banking, Ethika’s Knowledge Vault, bank directory, and calculators are here to support your journey.
